SIS PR08 European efforts on automated driving: findings from ongoing research.
The upcoming 11th ITS European Congress will take place from June 6th to 9th, 2016 in Glasgow. Visitors are invited on Thursday June 9, 2016, 09.00 - 10.30, Theatre 2, to follow the Special Interest Session of AdaptIVe project findings.
Automated driving will change mobility tremendously. The interaction between driver and vehicle is a key issue when designing functions with different degrees of automation. This session will show state-of-the-art findings on the driver-vehicle dialogue. Applications for automated driving functions in close-distance, urban and motorway scenarios will be presented. Achievements in communications and a preliminary definition of legal and regulatory aspects related to automated driving complete the list of topics.
Presenters will refer to examples from the European research projects AdaptIVe and AutoNet2030. Interactive discussions among the panel members and the audience will follow the presentations.
