On September 28-29, the high-level officials from EU Member States and European Institutions, policy-makers, representatives of industry and academia, start-ups, NGOs, got together in Bratislava, Slovakia to discuss the theme "Putting the Digital Single Market at the heart of Europe".

Also AdaptIVe was invited to the event. The project coordinator Aria Etemad, VW, participated in a panel discussion “Connected automated driving” together with Joost Vantomme, Director of smart mobility, ACEA, Hermann Meyer, Chief Executive Officer, ERTICO and Knut Evensen, Chief technologist manager, Q-Free. The discussion was moderated by Afke Schaart, Vice President Europe, GSMA. The panelists reflected the question, how to accelerate the deployment of connected and automated driving by using advanced digital technologies and services through multi-sectorial cooperation.
